We decided to stay and order, but then the waitress falsely claimed that they couldn't light our flambé outside, even though they did it for the table next to us. When we confronted her about this inconsistency, she lied again, saying it was the manager's orders. However, once she went inside, we saw her laughing, which left us feeling frustrated and disrespected. Overall, this was the worst experience we’ve had in such a beautiful city. While I'm usually hesitant to attribute such behavior to racism, I can't help but feel there was no valid explanation for the treatment we received.
