One of the best meals I had in a long time. To start afteros, mushroom and brie cheese burgers. The burger was amazing! Really delicious. What else can I say? If I wasn't 7 hours away, I came here all the time. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about La Cage:
Food was good. But I was there for 2 hours sitting at the bar and not one person working had a smile mire like scowls and angry wow way not to make tips. At least pretend to enjoy your job View all feedback.
We ordered a snack of wings and poutine. The salt and pepper wings were pretty good, although quite greasy and could have been browned more. The poutine however, was terrible. The fries and sauce were just warm but the large chunks of cheese curds on top were COLD, with no chance of being warmed by the potatoes below. Bizarre and very unsatisfactory. We mentioned this, and it was taken away, returned shortly after hot and with the cheese totally melted. I can only assume it was microwaved. The fries were now a soggy mess.
Nice friendly atmosphere, good food lots of beer on tap
