Not because the others were... read more We spent a week in Roundstone and after a few days of trying the local restaurants, we ended up coming here pretty much every night. Not because the others weren't good (they are! , but because the fish of the day here was delicious every time we had it (including hake, seabass and cod . Great service and welcoming staff add hugely to the experience. Half portions available on some of the dishes for kids too.

The fish chowder, howev... read more The fish was delicious, but the fries were a letdown. I’d much rather have a small serving of homemade fries than a bowl of frozen ones. The fish chowder, however, was outstanding. I’ll definitely return, though I’d prefer a baked potato over frozen fries next time.

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, and the service is impeccable. The menu is beautiful, with crab claws and duck salad that were simply delicious. The rack of lamb was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the scallops and turbot in orange butter were equally delightful. Definitely worth the visit, and I will be returning. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food without overwhelming the flavors—the fresh ingredients truly shine through with thoughtful preparation. The staff were excellent as well. Well done!

Portions are generous, and the staff is very welcoming. It's definitely a place to visit if you're in the area.
