And have been back 2 more... read more Thrilled to see Armando Cinda's Mandito's open in Round Top. Was there opening night and was amazed at how smoothly everything went!! And have been back 2 more times. Always enjoyed my food!! Happy to taste some of my favorite Mexican food that I had back in the 80's at the original Armando's!! Looking forward to trying Lulu's!!!

The skinny margaritas are so good! My family and I enjoyed a nice lunch of steak nachos a burrito. Both were pretty good. The service was a bit slow but not holding that against them! Every where is short staffed due to the surge in Covid. So be prepared and be kind to those who actually showed up!

And judging from the weekend crowds it draws patrons from throughout central Texas. Mandito’s popularity was evident as we drove in from La Grange TX; the porch setting was inviting so we joined others in dining al fresco. Warmly greeted, promptly seated and the service was excellent as was the meal. This is not what I consider traditional Tex Mex, but still very tasty. Our server offered to take payment for the meal check; however I noted the QR code and scanned with my iPhone. Quick and easy with Apple Pay providing an email copy of the check/payment. First time experience with this technology! Added to the overall satisfaction rating for Mandito’s.
