Lulu's In Round Top

Host was gracious and seated our on time and at a beautiful prepared table. Service was good and provided by a very personable young man named Tyler. Food was outstanding, all dishes prepared as ordered and delivered hot and timely. Great dining experience.

Went for our anniversary. Service was especially alert to what we wanted: not too fast, but a European kind of pace. Grilled ceasar salad, salmon and carbonara were all excellent!!

Food was delicious! Bartender and drinks were awesome! Best Expresso martini I’ve ever had. Service was slow….

After having not been to Lulu’s in almost months because of slow service and cold food , a local friend convinced us to give them another try. We arrived minutes early for our reservation at and did not get up to leave until after It wasn’t because of the great conversation with our friend who we used to sit with at the bar , but because the kitchen was so slow, and when our food did finally come it was cold but we were too hungry to say anything . The poor bartender apologized before we said a word he knew therefore we never even complained. The couple next to us at the bar had the same issue , I know because they asked if we had ever been there before and asked if this was this the norm. I was embarrassed to say yes this happens more than not. The restaurant was not overly busy at all so they can’t use that as an excuse that’s what they tried the last times we were there months ago. It really sad that they can’t figure out out to get the kitchen moving because they’re losing local customers left and right. We will not go back.

Our drinks were good, salad was our favorite (pear arugula). Parts of my dinner came out lukewarm. Meat had no flavor (braised ribs). I added lots of salt and pepper, but just ok. My friend had the fish special. She said it was good but was not seasoned enough. Her portion was small, too. This was our first visit and we were disappointed.
