We received a friendly welcome... read more Mice on the table where they cutting bread is normal in this restaurant. We wanted to have a pleasant dinner out with our family. We received a friendly welcome. The smoked salmon and snail appetizer was good, but the foie gras was terrible. The main courses, including the chocolate soufflé, were good. At the end of the evening, we noticed mice on the cutting board. The mice were also on the bread baskets. We told the staff, and they removed a basket, and a mouse bolted. He told us it was perfectly normal. The second staff member proudly announced that they had undergone a hygiene inspection and found no faults. At the cash register, we were also told that mice are normal in restaurants. If hygiene is important to you, you absolutely should not visit this restaurant.

We ordered wine which was good bu... read more Hubby and I ate here last week.....never again! We waited to be seated and were eventually waved to a seat by the head waiter. We ordered wine which was good but had to ask for water for the table. The starters came and the fish soup was just warm. The mains were awful, mixed grill was overcooked and the fish pie was undercooked. We waited and waited for our desserts 45 minutes in total and asked the waitress with red hair who said she'd send somebody to take our order, nobody came. So we finished our wine and left. As we got up the waiter asked us if we wanted desserts. Too late!
