Our goal is to create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere for our local regulars, holidaymakers, and those passing through, including our furry friends. Our bar is well stocked with a wide range of drinks, including local wines and ales from nearby vineyards and breweries. Our food is freshly prepared to order using locally sourced, free-range ingredients. Our menu and specials change with the seasons to showcase the freshest options available. Can only endorse all the 5* reviews. Fabulous pub; excellent beers; friendly professional staff; plenty of room; dog friendly most importantly, tip-top food. If you are expecting a normal pub Sunday lunch, look somewhere else. This is a cut above most places worth every penny. Will definitely be walking the dog on Camber sands as an excuse to go back to The Owl.
Madeleine was incredibly kind from the moment I emailed to book for our large party for a Sunday roast today. We have accessible needs in our party and certainly probably asked far to many questions and requests! But all of the staff where so lovely, attentive and kind. The roast was unbelievable, sharing platters was such a great idea. The portions where generous and delicious. Thank you The Owl a lovely pub, highly recommend.

We were really looking forward to the amazing Sunday lunch sharing boards at The Owl in Camber but after seeing the special scallop menu for Rye Scallop Week, we had a taste of each of the 4 scallop dishes instead! The scallops were amazing, plump, juicy and cooked beautifully. They are perfectly in season at the moment. Lovely relaxed vibe, great service from the team and plenty of people enjoying the menu and the sunshine and very dog friendly.
As lovely as Camber Sands is, I have to admit this place is my favourite and main reason for going. Always the highlight of my stay for the food but also in particular the service is so friendly and welcoming. The best thing I can say is that it’s always a shame to leave.
