This was our second visit to Marche, and the new owners did not disappoint. The service and dinner were excellent. Two members of our group enjoyed a special cream shrimp dish, which is a creation from the new owners' island restaurant menu.

Everything was fantastic – from the friendly staff to the cozy dining room and the delicious food! We had a lovely night out and enjoyed everything we ordered. We're already planning our next visit to try more items from the menu. The vegetarian in our group declared that the roasted cauliflower on beet hummus was the best dish she's ever had! After trying it myself, I can see why; I’ll definitely order it next time. Be sure to save room for their delicious desserts and homemade ice cream, as well as the fantastic coffee drinks!

Marché offers fantastic food, which is the main reason to endure the noisy atmosphere. Don't expect it's a place for deep conversations with your partner; it’s a series of small spaces with mirrored walls and limited sound absorption, along with some very loud patrons. However, the service is excellent, and the flavors are rich and unforgettable. We enjoyed a vegetarian meal featuring Shishito peppers, olives, rustic bread, and two standout main dishes: roasted cauliflower and gnocchi. Despite the noise, we’ll definitely be returning.

We really wanted to feel good about this new restaurant that has taken over a much loved previous setting. The expectation of dining out on New Year 's Eve is that it will be a fun celebratory setting. Some decorations or at least something resembling the Christmas New Year 's holiday season was anticipated! Marche was the reverse. Terrible room acoustics, almost impossible to hear the people at our table over the loud room. There was not a single sign of the holidays, or that it was New Year 's Eve. Zero decorations. The menu was mundane. Our table ordered steak which was reportedly a bit chewy but chalked up to the cut. The flavors were reported as good. The duck confit was salty, but expectedly so as the server stated it would be. The Halibut serving was an ungenerous 4 oz and dry and the bed of grain was too buttery and unseasoned. The sauce for the fish, on the side, arrived cold. Deserts were basic, and as mentioned earlier, no feeling at all that this was New Year 's Eve. The opportunity for this restaurant to showcase its creativity both in the food, and the interior design was really disappointing. At 9:30 the place was empty, and clearly, as their apparent last reservation at 7:45 (seated at 8:15 by the way), we felt and heard the closing up of the restaurant for the night activity only too well. It was a very unmemorable New Year 's Eve dining experience compared to the previous March aux Fleur in Ross, California.
