The hours listed are incorrect. I've visited this place a few times, and during my last visit, it seemed quite empty. However, I think the concept is solid!
This shop reportedly opened in September, but if you weren't aware of that, you might easily assume it was launched in response to the pandemic. I've been contemplating how to treat my little girls without having to take them inside a store, and that's when I discovered the Village Corner. It’s a quaint little spot operating as a takeout window. The entrance is cordoned off, and the owner takes your order from the other side of the rope, handing it to you when it's ready. With Ross Common nearby, it’s convenient to find a place to enjoy your snack. They offer a variety of snack items, but their standout product is likely the Lappert's ice cream. We ordered ice cream cones, and the owner executed a perfect contact-free service. She scooped the ice cream without touching either the cones or the ice cream itself, then placed them in a cone holder, ensuring there was no chance of contact between her and the customer.
This is a wonderful local spot for a tasty snack and a cup of coffee. The view of Ross Common is fantastic, and the location couldn't be better!
