The food was good. However, I had an unfortunate experience while waiting for my order. The woman who took my order was quite rude, and when I complained that my food was cold, she was unhelpful. They should ensure staff are better trained in customer service, and those handling phone calls or messages should definitely improve their public relations skills. View all feedback.
Good, reasonably priced Chinatown-style restaurant. Go here often with my family and as a couple. Recommend the Peking Duck.
Mai Kwai is a great child friendly Chinese restaurant. Food is genuine and quality is Chinatown authentic and generous. Can't go wrong
Make way for the Mongolian Lamb. Been coming here for ages. Ok, the decor has not been changed in 30 years. But the place is clean and has a steady and happily returning clientele. I like the Sang Choy Bow and the Mongolian Sizzling Lamb. Vege fried rice tasty. Recommend the steamed veges in oyster sauce. Good meal at very reasonable prices.GregFresser
I’ve been patronising this local since I was a teenager in the 70’s. It never disappoints. The service can sometimes be a bit abrasive but who cares if the food is good. I arrived late after work a few minutes before the kitchen closed and they still accommodated me. The chicken laksa was most enjoyable. It’s so nice to see this Chinese restaurant is still with us after the pandemic. So many others no longer exist. Xie Xie
Cannot stop coming here! the peking duck and mongolian lamb is a must. Sweet and sour pork is a close second. San chow bow also very good.
