The diner was serviced... read more It is worth to find the hidden place with a wonderful view over the lake of constance. We were wellcomed with Glühwein and an open fire. The diner was serviced in the house. The dining room has a greatt ambiance, not too many decors, just...right. We enjoyed a 3 cours menue. The people are professionals with charming hospitality.

The venue and the view are outstanding you get to see the entire Lake of...Constance, the Appenzell and the Saint Galler Rhine valley Prices are fair, quality outstanding.

Homely, tasteful furn... read more Today we visited Sabine in her eagle's nest high above the thick fog over Lake Constance and St.Gallen. What happened to this pub chapeau! Homely, tasteful furnishings with a fireplace, a good selection and the ingredients are only hand picked and of the highest quality and taste. The menu leaves nothing to be desired, the goat cheese tastes fine and balanced and is warm, the mussels in a bit of spicy curry sauce are a positive surprise, the veal liver is a revelation I've never had better! Unfortunately the wine was a bit too cold. For dessert there was cinnamon and mango ice cream. Both were absolutely successful, but especially the cinnamon ice cream, which is supposed to be extremely difficult to make homemade in this quality. Overall, it was a successful banquet to celebrate a reunion and surrounded by perfect service and hospitality! What else would you expect from Sabine!
