Our last night in Rome so decided to return. Same waiter there but he was not our server. Wife ordered calzone and was served a pizza, young waiter said thats how they make it...unbelievable.He was not happy she questioned it. Extremely moody. I then advised the other waiter who had words with him and offered a new one which we declined as she had eaten some of it and I had finished. So no reduction in price therefore only 3 stars this time,my veal was lovely. Disappointed especially after the previous night. I have added the 2 photos from the previous night when I gave 5 stars.
A simple, old-fashioned trattoria. The atmosphere is dated but clean and welcoming. Traditional Roman dishes are served with generous portions and generous glasses of local wine. I wouldn 't recommend the Milanese cutlet, as it seemed overdone. The pasta dishes, roast suckling pig, and the abbraccio with potatoes are top notch.
Friendly waiters, hearty dishes, and spectacular pasta carbonara
The best Food in Rome. My partner and I went for lunch in the first Saturday of February, before visiting Castel Sant'Angelo. The staff was very friendly and helpful, their house white wine was delicious and the service was fast. We had salmon and roasted lamb with potatoes. Grazie millie
