What Peppermint dislikes about Pompi:
I miss the old Pompi. The historic one that didn't make tiramisu on an industrial scale. I find it hard to eat your tiramisu; those with a refined palate will notice that the mascarpone has changed. It's like it's fatter. I'm sorry. Pompi was truly an institution in the neighborhood. Great tiramisu and other sweets. the prices are reasonable. the staff is very friendly and everyone speaks well English. recommend in any case
The personal was great. we took classic tiramisu, was good, but we tried somewhere else a better and cheaper:
My father, born in 1925, was hosted for a day as a child and was treated with love. In 1969, I came to live a few steps away and met the grandmother and parents of the people who run the place. They have always been honest and good people. Only kind words for them.
Excellent tiramisu, friendly staff, and a very beautiful location.
