The best bacon I have ever h... read more We came here on our first night in Rome per our hotel concierge’s recommendation. The food was delicious and the service excellent! The best bacon I have ever had in the chef’s daily special risotto. Although we never typically repeat a restaurant while traveling, we wanted more so we came back on our last night in Rome and food and service were once again excellent. Romantic atmosphere while also catering to our two year old. Best dining experience we had in Italy! And the complimentary limoncello liquor was very tasty.

We found Ristorante Petrucci... read more This delightful restaurant was near our Rome hotel, Hotel Bolivar, next to Hotel Hiberia, and across the street from the Gelatist. We found Ristorante Petrucci to have authentic and delicious Italian food, served by an excellent staff! We were especially happy with the outstanding service provided by our waiter, Luigi. We tried other restaurants in the area, but this was far the best food, for the best value. We ate there three times during our stay. During two of our visits, the pizza-maker sang live opera for about 10 minutes each time. (He was a opera student at an Italian university. His sang many of the classics like Carmen and Aida! His singing was as good as the three tenors!!! The restaurant atmosphere was delightful and all of the wait staff spoke excellent English. This is a great place to take a family, because they have great menu, including some pizza. They also have some other delicious entrees. The restaurant was very romantic for us as we were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversary! Great restaurant. We loved it!! When we come back to Rome, we will definitely go there again.

Food was lovely, service w... read more Had a super evening on our last night in Rome. Family of five (kids 21, 19 and 13). Everyone just wanted pizza (had pasta for lunch). Food was lovely, service was brilliant. House wine at €12 was very drinkable. And the highlight of the evening the pizza chef came out to entertain the guests with his rendition of a selection of operatic Italian bangers Pavarotti style! Brilliant. Cheapest meal of the week and the most memorable! #singingpizzachef
