The waiter was fairly rude... read more Went to eat with our son on the first night. We ordered our food and it took 1hr to come. The food arrived and was ok but not great. The waiter was fairly rude and seemed more interested in serving his Italian friend who’s food came out remarkably quicker than ours. Won’t be revisiting…..sorry

Plates put on the table with the m... read more We should have walked out when the waiter told us they didn’t serve tap water, from then on he could not be bothered with us. Plates put on the table with the minimum of care and not so much as a “ there you go”. He didn’t know mush about wines, and the pasta was wet, and my veal was 50% bone, 20% fat. It felt like we were a nuisance being customers. I review lots of restaurants and this is one of the few that gets 1 star.

Ordered an 18... read more Popped in for drinks and some antipasti. Service from all staff severely lacking in charm. Got the drinks order wrong due to not paying attention. Ordered an 18 euro meat platter which came minus, bread, oil, seasoning and pickles. Just a plate of meat! Had to request the missing bits as advertised on the menu, maybe they think tourists are dumb enough to accept anything, they looked like they couldn't care less! Avoid, there is a lot better in Rome!

Our server, Lucca asked us to breakfast but we had already eaten so instead he invited us in to look at his newly delivered fresh fish order for the evening meal. Well that alone sold me so we went back for dinner and it was indeed very good and I thought very reasonably priced. I ordered a whole Turbot and Lucca paired it with a really good bottle of wine from the Local Lazio region. These folks treated us like family. Everything we ordered here was very good. We liked it so much and it was so close to our digs that we ended up there for three breakfasts and two more dinners. YaYa another server was very nice too. We can’t wait to go back to Rome to visit again with our new Roman friends

Service... read more We came here after being let down by a restaurant round the corner. We enjoyed the food and drink very much and would rate this restaurant as very good. Service was good during the meal, however, it felt slightly rushed at the end when we asked for the bill. We had seen other diners being given a complementary Limincello, but we weren 't offered one as they seemed busy clearing tables and in a hurry to leave, which was a shame. Also, there were two incorrect items on the bill, but as one of our items was missing and the total amount was roughly the same, given that they were in a rush we didn 't bother querying it but just paid it. (As we had slightly overpaid, we didn 't leave a tip). There was no 'goodbye as we left....
