When traveling i always try to eat local food and our hotel recomm... read more When we got to Rome after sailing from Fort Lauderdale I needed a break from the ship's food. When traveling i always try to eat local food and our hotel recommended Amodei for good Italian food. My wife and another couple and I stopped in. There were several Italian dishes that sounded interesting but I knew what I needed: pizza and a cold IPA. The restaurant did not disappoint. Pizza and beer just like back home!! (northern Minnesota) We were the first customers of the day and Tamara was all alone but the food was great, service was quick and Tamara was very accommodating and friendly. There were little things she did that demonstrated that she takes pride in her work. We are running out of time but we'll somehow find a way to get back to Amodei for Italian food. I highy recommend this restaurant!! Note: as of this writing I have not tried any of the foods listed below and my review is based what I had and the service provided.
