For the uninitiated, a coney is a small hot dog. The first one I had was in Tulsa, OK. I am pleased to say the Coney Islander in Rockwall, Texas is absolutely true to the original. The coneys are excellent and the service is fast and friendly. This is a fast, inexpensive meal that tastes great!!! I highly recommend you try the excellent new place. View all feedback.
What Luigi Rosenbaum doesn't like about Coney Island Hot Weiners:
I'll make another review about a month or so... somehow hope to leave a better review. The price was great. I was right there when it opened about a week after the opening and the rush was gone. Waited immediately. Was surprised how small the Koney was (not the heads up that it was a small thing). Anyway, I started to notice how very little taste I had eaten very early. I have three with mustard, chili and cheese. I... View all feedback.
Love the hot dogs here, I was just here about a handful of time, but I always have great service and the food is for my pleasure. I think a deserved 5 stars is fine.
I would be an evaluation of zero if Google allowed it. The rolls were wound and chew while the frits were reheated. The worst part by far was the chili that was related to the taste of the dog food Alpo. I am a teacher and the cafeteria in the public school system serves a better chili dog and fries. I refused to finish my meal. My husband and I will not return.
This is a great place to stop if you like a cone! We stopped in the Dallas area because the family wanted a hot dog. What we were treated was nothing short of unique and excellent! We even went back and ordered more before we left! The staff was friendly and warm and we experienced real Texas hospitality! Thanks for the experience!

I have three with mustard, chili and cheese. I was confused. I always looked at it, thought I should really experience taste in my mouth, but it's not there. It was like me. Maybe it'll be different next time. The owner was very nice, from Coney Island, seemed very real.
We are super happy that they brought this from Tulsa. We used to buy 16 to 30 at a time because they were only in Tulsa. They taste just like the ones from Tulsa. You have to try them out and they do offer other things as well. I will be back to eat there.
