For the second consecutive visit, the shake machine was out of order. Isn’t that the whole point of going to Arby's—roast beef sandwiches and milkshakes? We did enjoy our roast beef sandwiches, but we ended up having to go to McDonald's for milkshakes, which turned out to be completely unfrozen. It was inconvenient, and it ended up costing more since it wasn’t part of a meal. Next time, I'll call ahead to Arby's, and if the shake machine is down again, I think I’ll head to Steak 'n Shake or Chick-fil-A instead, since they're closer. We do enjoy the roast beef sandwiches from time to time, and of course, the shakes when they’re available.
The waitress was incredibly rushed, and it took almost half an hour for our service. If I hadn't been waiting, I would have left. When I finally reached the counter, I was told that an order had been forgotten and left behind. On a brighter note, I really enjoyed the orange cream shake!
