The food at this restaurant is excellent and super tasty. I usually eat Thai food in the city, but tonight my wife took me to this restaurant and it was amazing! If you want authentic and delicious Thai food, this is the place to go. The dishes are not too sweet like many other places, and they use Rice bran oil in their cooking, which is another bonus. What Aaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyu doesn't like about Gang Thai:
This used to be a lovely restaurant with delicious food but it is under new ownership. Furniture and decor have been downgraded. Food was horrible and definitely not authentic. It seemed like questionable pieces of chicken had been coked and tinned sauce thrown over it. All of our small group felt queasy after eating and felt vaguely unwell for the rest of the evening with an unpleasant taste in our mouths. View all feedback.
This place is the best! Quick, friendly service, cheap food (and even cheaper $8 lunch specials), plus BYOBusy between 6-8pm, but understandably.
This is the place you need to get lunch at if you're in GlebeAuthentic recipesClean, friendly staff, tons of seating, fast and delicious.
I ate at this place twice during my visit to Sydney.
If you're in the area and craving Thai food, definitely give this one a go. Nothing fancy. Service was quick, not thorough. Had to ask twice for drink order to come to the table, but it was quickly rectified. Maybe it was a language misunderstanding. Not an issue that we're low -carbers and didn't want rice or noodles.
Excellent food. Lovely spicy pad kee mao noodles and the panang chicken is one of the best ive tasted. Service is attentive and prices good. I get my takeaway from here and they never fail to disappoint.
