What User doesn't like about Zen Fusion Hibachi Lounge:
The service from the waitstaff was friendly, but our group of three was the only table occupied so the chef seemed to put in minimal effort and lacked engagement. The food was decent but not exceptional, and our bill came out to $150. Considering we spent $50 each for an average meal, we expected a more memorable experience. Great food, but it seems like there was a shortage of serving staff. The chef did an impressive job cooking my steak and salmon, starting with a flame of alcohol and oil and juggling an egg. However, there were some issues with the service. I had to wait 15 minutes for a drink while my companions already had theirs, probably because of the lack of staff. Also, they heat their sake in the microwave rather than boiling water, so don't worry if they forget to bring it to you - it will be ready to drink when it arrives.
Yesterday, we went to Zen Fusion for the very first time to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Alberto was our hibachi chef and we had a fantastic time. He was wonderful with our three young children, attentive to us four adults, and cooked the food perfectly. Thanks to him, our daughter had a memorable experience. The portions were generous and the quality of the food was excellent. We don't dine out frequently, but when we do, we look for a great experience and good value. We will definitely be returning to Zen Fusion and requesting Alberto again!
I cannot praise my experience at Zen Fusion enough! The staff, the atmosphere, the vibe were all fantastic. The Playboy sushi roll was incredible. They wrap it in foil and light it on fire. I cannot put into words how delicious it was. I absolutely loved it!
The wait staff was really nice, but our group of three were the only ones at the table, so the chef did minimal effort and engaged very little. Food was the same as it always is (which is decent, but nothing noteworthy) and our bill was $150. Forfifty bucks a person and just ok food, I would think there would be more to the experience. We've been going there for years,but I think it may be time to be done. :
Not especially impressed with the dinner portions for being $5-$6 more than the lunches. My large family comes here a lot, and tonight we were a crowded party of 11, but the amount of veggies they cooked up looked the same as when we had been a party of 7from a previous dinner visit.
