I really love her salad; the candied part is delicious! Her sandwiches are absolutely fantastic as well. My favorites are the grilled cheese and the ham and turkey. View all feedback.
What Joseph Sluhoski doesn't like about The Thirsty Belgian:
The beers are great but they are pricey and so is the food. They carry Pappy Van Winkle 15yr and charge $75 for a shot- only this isn’t Pappy.crazy enough to pay for something like this but since it’s supposedly the best in the world, why not. Think it was makers mark. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 View all feedback.
The variety of glassware and beers on tap is absolutely impressive! The attention to detail in serving the right beer in the right glass is remarkable, especially the Kwak glasses, which are just fantastic. Finding Kwak on tap anywhere is a real treat. I tried the bruschetta, which was nice, though I usually like mine with a balsamic glaze. However, the toasties more than compensated for it. The Tijuana with chipotle mayo was perfection. I had a lovely chat with the owner and the bartender, both of whom were wonderful to be around. These are genuinely good people, and I truly hope their business continues to thrive for many more years to come. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in Rochester!
Our friends took us out for drinks and food, and we had a great time. The TB offers an excellent selection of Belgian beers and other craft brews, including some rare options on draft. The snacks were generous and delicious, featuring tasty pizzas and salads. Plus, you can catch the Packers game on Sundays. While our friends are regulars, it was clear that the staff is welcoming to everyone (except maybe Vikings fans on Sundays).
I was searching for something new to try in Rochester, and wow! We will definitely be coming back! The lobster bisque was one of the best soups I've ever had, and it paired perfectly with the sandwich. We can't wait to return!
The sandwiches here are excellent, and the service is both prompt and friendly. Price per person: $1–10. Food: 5/5. Service: 5/5. Atmosphere: 4/5. Recommended dish: Panini.
Great spot! There are a ton of different beers to choose from, and the pizza selection is amazing. Be sure to try the Kwak beer; you won’t regret it! Rating: Food: 5/5, Service: 5/5, Atmosphere: 5/5.
