Doc's Tavern is a hidden gem in Rochester. This charming little restaurant offers delicious food and the owner, Regina, is awesome. The menu frequently changes, so there is always something new to try. It's a perfect stop on your way to or from Sugarbush! View all feedback.
What Tyree Braun doesn't like about Doc's Tavern:
The waitress tried. Had chicken wings. Not many and bland. Fried pickles weren't as good as they were a few years ago. Burgers were bland. **** Mary's were watered down tomato juice. No flavor or vodka. View all feedback.
We reside in South Royalton, VT and enjoy visiting this restaurant. The fish and chips here are exceptional, with the cod melting in your mouth. The staff is consistently friendly, despite any negative reviews. The cozy and welcoming interior adds to the overall experience. Thank you for a great meal!

I love the laid-back atmosphere, welcoming staff, charming town, and delicious food at this restaurant! And the fact that they are dog-friendly is a bonus.
Excellent food! This small town bar is putting out perhaps the best burger I've eaten in New England. Soft buns, fresh salad, pink meat... this chef knows what he is doing. Hand cut chips are just the icing on the cake. Great range of beers on tap. I'd be happy with just a few draft options, but there is the range here to enamour any craft aficionado. You can see why the place is filled with people. It's a local gem that's worth traveling for.
The restaurant was excellent and the pub had fantastic food and drinks. The staff were helpful and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds made for a great night's sleep.
