The choice of real ale (6 pumps) is a beer lovers delight and it is exceptionally well kept. We had three different meals, each of which was of much higher quality than you generally expect in a pub. The staff are outstanding, courteous, attentive, friendly and very helpful. The Baum is a real hidden gem and a credit to it's owners. If you're a beer fan or a food lover, this one is not to be missed. Easily one of the best pubs I have ever visited.

I had to stop by for a drink and was... read more This restaurant is truly a unique gem with so much character. The atmosphere is classy and reminiscent of an old-world pub. I had to stop by for a drink and was greeted by friendly staff and stunning surroundings. I found out that it is a CAMRA-certified pub, and they also offer private dining experiences. Overall, a fantastic place to visit.

My husband had a perfectly cooked steak, and both him and my daughter really enjoyed the exceptional beef dripping chips. The roast butternut squash risotto was divine, with the rice having a good bite and perfect seasoning. We were very happy with the meal and the service was great. It was our first visit but we will definitely be returning!
