Wasena City Tap Room Grill - Roanoke

Sat down outside. Waited 20 minutes for anyone to come up to us. Asked for a plain hotdog and that was apparently too complicated to make and could cause some issues with having to double charge, so they just gave me it with absolutely every ingredient that normally comes on it. Guys, it’s a plain hot dog, not french cuisine. Absolutely beautiful restaurant and friendly staff overall, but you have to do better than “ehh just take it how it comes normally.” How is getting something plain a difficult thing? You’re saving money with less ingredients too? I was still charged full price.

Stopped in for lunch after cycling the greenway. Service was fantastic. I ordered the bean burger but didn’t eat it because it was super bland. I added salt but it really needs coriander, garlic powder, and a lot of salt/pepper. I told the server the issue so I hope it’s relayed bc it has potential. Hubs Fried green tomato sandwich also needed a bunch of salt, but he ate it. Will be back to try one other vegetarian wrap. Hoping they add seasoning ?

Wow on the food. I need to come back here and try everything!
