Table 50 is a fantastic restaurant located in downtown Roanoke, offering a high-end dining experience perfect for special occasions. The staff are accommodating and the food choices are magnificent, catering to different palates. While some diners found the food lacking in seasoning and overpriced, others raved about the delicious options like the sweet potato gnocchi and blackened ahi tuna. The ambiance is cozy and romantic, with attentive service from friendly staff. Overall, Table 50 is highly recommended for a memorable dining experience in Roanoke.

I only give 5 stars because I can?t give 10. The food is absolutely AMAZING!!! The sweet potato gnocchi appetizer is a must try. The blackened ahi tuna is out of this world. It?s a little pricey, but worth every single penny!!! If you?re looking for an unforgettable meal, I promise, won?t regret choosing Table 50. In my opinion, it?s the best restaurant in Roanoke, hands down. Thank you to the staff for another wonderful meal.

Nice atmosphere. Clean restaurant. Friendly staff. High quality ingredients if sometimes a bit dull. We had the Caesar salad, Shrimp and Grits, and the Filet Bienville. The salad was fresh crisp lettuce with a light caesar dressing, a few cloves of roasted garlic, and crisped garlicky crostini. Very nice. The Shrimp and Grits: the creole gravy was more vegetable than rue savory. The sausage was good. The shrimp was tasteless (not seasoned and not rich) but was fresh. The

Went here for a very special night out and dinner. Inside vibe was nice and rustic, and was seated at a nice corner table. Interesting drink options and a sweet potato gnocchi appetizer started our meal and both were tasty. My wife had the Southern Fried Chicken breast with the garlic mashed potatoes and the collard greens, and all were very good. My meal took an entirely different turn. I ordered the Beef Stroganoff with filet mignon tips. The first bite was tasty. The beef

Went here for a very special night out and dinner. Inside vibe was nice and rustic, and was seated at a nice corner table. Interesting drink options and a sweet potato gnocchi appetizer started our meal and both were tasty. My wife had the SouthernFried Chicken breast with the garlic mashed potatoes and the collard greens, and all were very good. My meal took an entirelydifferent turn. I ordered the Beef Stroganoff with filet mignon tips. The first bite was tasty. The beef tender, and the saucetasty. Literally the remainder of my steak however was completely inedible gristle. The waitress came and took my plate withoutasking why it appeared untouched. When she returned and then did ask about our meals, I conveyed just how bad it was. Iexplained that I never mentioned it earlier because one, I kept thinking obviously it would get better, and also she was absentfor most of our meal. She then returned from the kitchen and said the chef appreciated my feedback and explained that the meatin my Stroganoff was the trimmings leftover from the actual filets served. So for $26 I got the scraps in sauce with pasta. Itwas never even offered to remove this item from our bill, but only offered a free dessert to compensate for a completelyinedible entrée. This was my first trip to Table 50, and was under the impression it was one of the nicest restaurants in thearea. From my experience it is definitely not, and the lackadaisical attitude from the kitchen and the staff was trulyperplexing. I left without asking for the manager, but not sure if that would have changed the outcome, as I see the managementhasn 't commented on other negative experiences in their reviews. Sadly , I likely won 't be giving them another chance due tothis non caring attitude. With Carlos now closed, Roanoke is definitely in need of a restaurant that offers a truly specialexperience and food quality to match. Table 50 is not that restaurant.

The Shrimp and Grits: the creole gravy was more vegetable than ruesavory. The sausage was good. The shrimp was tasteless (not seasoned and not rich) but was fresh. The grits were dull. Wouldnot get again. The Filet Bienville: The filet was cooked perfectly medium rare with even gradients and had a lovely char. Thegarlic mashed potatoes were buttery and had garlic flavor but was not overpowering. The asparagus was buttery but boring andneeded some salt or char grills to give it a nice flavor, The oysters were fresh and cooked great but watch for shell pieces onthese fresh lovelies. Would definitely get again. Definitely worth a return trip.
