Remini's - Roanoke

Mediterranean or Mediocre?. Stopped in one evening and first impression was weak. We were taken to a high top table that we had to wipe off, and the general cleanliness of the place was lacking. If the front looked like this then I would hate to see the back. It's a rather small place, with a equally small menu selection. Servers are all young and most too young to bring alcohol to the table, so no wine recommendations from them. You can see them cook (somewhat setup like the Japanese steak house where they grill in front of you but with a glass partition separating the dining room). Heard great things, but walked in and first saw spider webs all around seating where you can wait. Our plates were not washed well at all when handed to us, we had to wipe each plate down again. Food was ok, not amazing. Wish I had gone somewhere else.

My date took me to eat at Remini's and it was not what we had anticipated. We were both quite disappointed in our entire experience. The wait staff seemed disorganized and the menu had minimal choices to chose from. When my seafood pasta primavera came the fettucini noodles overwhelmed my plate with only 4 shrimp and 6 scallops. It was not good and for the price my date paid for my meal it was not worth it. I would not recommend this resturant to anyone.

Great food and service. we are here several times and every time we were very happy with everything. their recent expansion is due to their popularity. very authentic Italian dishes.

Just got back from Reminis for the first time. My parents kept recommending it to me. I thought the decor was nice. not too over the top. the smell in the place hits you right away, and its a pleasant one. I thought the waitstaff was very nice, friendly, and helpful. I got The Roanoke.. one of the best sandwiches I've had! Very nice place with good food and good prices
