Kfc - Roanoke

I ordered the $23.99 fill-up meal, but the only thing this meal could fill is a pothole in the road. The biscuits were rock-hard, and the chicken seemed like it had been kept under a warmer since last Tuesday. Saying it was dried out would be an understatement. We usually enjoy KFC, but this experience was just awful.

I wanted to pick up a quick meal this evening, but this was easily the worst choice we could have made. The chicken was inedible and tasted like burnt plastic. Even removing the breading didn't help; the meat was far too dry. The biscuits were hard, and the soda was lacking in syrup... and we had actually ordered lemonade.

The staff was friendly and the drive-thru was quick, but I had an issue with the chicken. I ordered four drumsticks, and they looked appealing at first. However, as soon as I took a bite, I realized the oil used must have been rancid. The coating on the chicken was extremely bitter and greasy, clearly indicating old oil was used. Since I had already left, I couldn't return to address the problem. So, I ended up wasting $11 and was left with just mashed potatoes and green beans for dinner.
