Just had lunch here and was very disappointed with the quality and the flavours were underwhelming...and whats the deal with the tempura batter ..i have never seen tempura batter so thick, I had to peel the batter off just to the vegetables. I can not recommend, save your money and go elsewhere Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
Was craving sushi, so went to swan sushi but it was closed. So thought we would give this place a try again as it had been years since we came here. still wasnt impressed. The salmon aburi was great everything else was oversized and fell apart when you at it. I hate the fact you put kewpie mayo on most sushi or a sweet soy on the bottom..it's cheap but I would rather pay more and have something better. If you like cheap food then this is fine for you. Please train your staff the right way to do the cleaning in front of customers! The staff wore the gloves when she cleaned the table. While she’s doing that, another one asked her for help to serve the food to the customers. She still wore that gloves to serves and went back with the cleaning, right in front of me! I hope she did not go back to the kitchen and make the food with that pair of gloves. Sashimi was not fresh at all. The bamboos they put the sashimi on was mouldy (please change the new one . Attended on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was quite busy, both sitting at the conveyor belt and surrounding tables. The cashier was taking a list of names in order of presentation and a short wait outside was had prior to dining. Worth the wait though, the sushi train variety was quite good, some of the big rolls were quite heavily sauced but I enjoyed that. The food which was cooked to order arrived quickly, everything was delicious. Decent value for money, and in an easy to get to location in a street with a couple of other bars/restaurants.
