This restaurant is very disappointing. It is greedy and expensive, and the quality of the food is terrible. The portions keep getting smaller and more expensive with each visit. They used to be decent, but now the food quality is absolutely awful. I will not be returning.
OFFICIAL REVIEW INSTAGRAM @MEATBOXESWA Hello fellow Meat Box Lovers! Today we ventured through Perth’s finest suburbs to find Ali Baba Takeaways in Rivervale and boy Oh boy were we impressed, this small shop does anything and everything when it comes to Mediterranean food. It wasn’t a bad serving size for the price of $15.90 which was a bit pricey for our pockets but it certainly was worth it. The sauce covered the meal perfectly and held some serious flavour, with the garlic sauce having the perfect amount of tang and the barbecue being nice and sweet. The chips were perfect. Having a really crunchy crust and a perfect soft and fluffy centre, while also being well seasoned. The meat was cooked perfectly. It was tender while holding heaps of flavour and juices. The meat to chip was the perfect 50:50 ratio!!! Which is the best we’ve had an exactly what we look for here at meatboxeswa. All in all, this meat box was amazing ticking every single one of the boxes we look for and has easily been the best in the west to date!! Price: $15.90 Rating: 9.5/10!!!
We have tried kebabs in so many places over the years, but none have ever been as good as Ali Baba's. The kebabs are hot, and so delicious. We have had pizzas, which are wood fired, and usually take home some freshly made faccacia bread.
I've been coming here for years with my family. The food is consistently excellent and we are always greeted warmly. Highly recommend.
