Perrets used to be one of the best places in town to eat. But with the new ownership, food quality has gone down, service likewise, but price has gone up. Even the new remodel seems...cold. It was a comfortable and friendly home town eatery before. Now it looks like a dentist or lawyer's office. Wife said it looks like a garage door showroom
I absolutely love Perrett's! Their pizza, calzones, and salads are fantastic. Make sure to come hungry, as you'll want to try everything! The Spicy Hula pizza is without a doubt the best option on the menu.
I dined at the restaurant last week and was impressed by the updated decor. However, upon entering, the atmosphere was chaotic and disorganized. The head waitress, whom I assume was in charge, was rude to both the staff and the customers. The restaurant was around 75% full, and she loudly informed the hostess, clearly within earshot of diners, that they had reservations and there was no space for them. While they were trying to figure out seating, the waitress returned and bluntly announced that there would be a 40-minute wait, leaving no room for other patrons. The hostess looked visibly embarrassed. There were two tables available, but we were told one of them was in the coldest room, which turned out to be the kitchen. While it wasn't too bad for me, my partner found it quite chilly. Once seated, we hardly had a moment to glance at the menu before the head waitress came over for our drink orders. I ordered a $2.89 iced tea, which was forgettable except for the low price. I also tried their chicken alfredo, a dish I usually make at home from scratch. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it looked runny and gritty. By the time I was halfway through, my meal had cooled down significantly—something I should have sent back. My partner enjoyed his pasta, but given that he's not picky, I can't speak to its quality. We requested crushed red pepper, and the waitress, instead of bringing it to us, turned to the table next to us and asked, "You're not using this, right?" before placing it on our table. A young child, maybe around 10-12 years old, was helping bus tables and mistakenly left our neighbors' check and to-go box on our table for about 10 minutes while the neighboring patrons waited patiently for their own check, which we were unaware of. I ordered tiramisu to go and received a small frozen dessert that was smashed on one side and overpriced at $8.99. The only truly pleasant experience was with the sweet young hostess, who definitely deserves a better job where she is appreciated. I have a feeling the waitress will drive her away soon. Overall, I doubt I'll return. Good luck to future diners!
The location and service were excellent, and they have a fantastic selection of pizzas. We ordered two pizzas with the same honey wheat crust, but the flavor didn't meet our expectations.
This is the ONLY place we got some really good food. I got the calzone it was so good. My granddaughter had the shrimp Alfredo fettuccine it was really good. The waitress needs to remember to check on her table, she would disappear. We would have ordered more to drink. I would come back to try something else. The place was very clean.
