What Pamela Olesen doesn't like about Brown Sugar Coffee Roastery:
Very friendly team but overall was pretty disappointed in the food. Nothing looked or tasted fresh , had a very bagged and frozen feel. Atmosphere and employees were great or this would have been a 3 star rating : View all feedback.
It was obvious from the waiter’s demeanor that we were more effort than he wanted to deal with. I suppose requesting a coffee and tea to-go after spending over $100 was asking too much. The restaurant had a charming atmosphere, but if you're in search of a welcoming attitude, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I visited this restaurant briefly with my father, and I must say, the staff were outstanding in both their demeanor and service. My order was taken accurately, which isn’t always the case at other places. They were also very attentive to both my needs and those of my father, making our entire experience truly delightful.
The fresh battered shrimp were incredibly juicy, and the Chicken Diane, a house favorite, lived up to its reputation—absolutely fantastic! The 14 oz ribeye was top-notch in quality and seasoning, especially with the butter melted on top, and it paired perfectly with rosemary fries. Just take a look at my photos; every bite was delightful, and I’m already excited about my next visit. For dessert, I enjoyed a moist carrot cupcake and pink lemonade. Overall, I had a wonderful time here!
I have eaten here a total of 5 separate times and I have come to this conclusion. Today I was served the Belgian Waffle with a ?specialty? mocha. The Belgian waffle had the same texture and taste as one of the store bought snack waffles you find in thedesert section of Walmart. All they did here was put two of them on my plate along with fruit and whip cream. To say the $8.00price was absurd would be an understatement as I can estimate the meal takes around $3.00 to make. If you want waffles inRiverton you should go to the trailhead where they give you handmade waffles for the same price. The only redeeming quality ofthe Brown Sugar Coffee Roastery is not even their coffee but their teas. I have had two of them and despite their slightoverpriced nature they are still palatable. As well I have tried their scones which are also of the same texture as somethingbought in a low quality store. To assume all of the baked goods are store bought could definitely be correct.
