Sushi Ok - Riverside
Sushi Ok
Description
At this restaurant, experiences vary widely. While some patrons rave about delightful dishes and attentive service, others express disappointment with a lack of hospitality, cleanliness, and inflated prices. Complaints about slow service, excessive mayo in sushi, and unsanitary restrooms were frequently noted. Conversely, several diners praised standout menu items like the Shrimp Lover Roll and enjoyable ambiance, highlighting quality food and engaging staff. Despite its mixed reviews, the restaurant showcases potential, appealing to those who appreciate good sushi and a lively atmosphere. However, inconsistency in service and quality remains a concern for many diners.

This is my favorite restaurant, period. PSA: This IS NOT AYCE! Cheap people can go to Oishii. This restaurant serves high quality sushi. Their rolls are enormous because they don't skimp on fillings or toppings. Their menu consists of SO many other creative raw fish options that aren't your typical sushi fare. They also have a full menu of other Japanese favorites, including ramen, udon, tonkatsu, cooked salmon dishes and tare yaki. There's something for everyone, I promise. For the kids, there's Orange Chicken, but better is the Sesame Chicken appetizer (and order a side of rice. For those willing to lay down some , I recommend Omakase. The chefs will prepare their best dishes, including Wa gyu beef and fattyToro. IYKYK.
So many options! The place is appealing, the staff is friendly, and most importantly the food is delicious
What a pleasant surprise! We noticed cops eating lunch, a good sign. The menu is huge, with incentive combinations. We saw three working. The decor is above average, almost fancy, and the restrooms are nice. It is in a center anchored by a Smart Final with plenty of parking.
Great place to enjoy a variety of authentic dishes...I was here and they even celebrated someones birthday...You will get you moneys worth... ~The Filipino
SushOK is more like sushi AMAZING!! Don’t confuse this place with Sushi Okoku, as it is not an all-you-can-eat establishment. However, if you are willing to spend a little more for high-quality ingredients and fish, then this is the place for you. The selection here is extensive, offering a variety of options such as sashimi, carpaccios, sushi rolls, and grilled dishes. Despite the wide range of choices, each item is made with top-notch ingredients and tastes incredible. The sushi chefs are friendly and skilled, providing a fun atmosphere. If you are on a date and want a unique experience, sitting at the bar allows you to interact with the chefs who will take excellent care of you. Alternatively, sitting at a table is a good option as well, with helpful and friendly servers. During my visit, I tried the Amazing Salmon roll, Jeff roll, and various sushi options, all of which were delicious. I highly recommend trying the amberjack sushi if you enjoy citrus and savory flavors. I will definitely be returning to this spot as my new favorite sushi restaurant.
