Restaurant was nice, but a bit pricey. Service was great. Nice place for that special evening

Food was excellent you could cut the steak with your fork. Prime rib was to die for.

My husband and I wanted to try The Journey because we frequent Argosy Casino and because Journey offers wood fired steaks. We always order our fillets done medium rare plus (i.e. between medium and medium rare) but were told they could only do medium or medium rare. Therefore the steaks although very tasty were just a bit too well done for our liking since we chose the medium option. Presentation with the huge serving of mashed potatoes on the plate next to the fillet left something to be desired. The au jus ran into the potatoes. It would have been better to have served them in a separate bowl. The spinach/walnut/raspberry salad was a very generous portion and OUTSTANDING. The bread served before dinner had a wonderful taste and nice crust. It was served with delicious honey butter. Our server was attentive and pleasant. We like Patricia a lot. She responded to our every request in a timely manner and made sure to check on us at the appropriate time. I noted noise level as quiet, but we were in the restaurant before 5PM, so that may change when the restaurant gets busier.

Great food...you will not be disappointed. Steaks were super tender, caesar salad was perfect..no dessert we were too full!
