What Helen Stefos doesn't like about Chef Shangri-la:
First time at this restaurant and it will be my last. Had the Teriyaki Beef Tenderloin. It was swimming in the teriyaki sauce, and the meat was almost raw in the center. Had them take it back to cook it to medium. They brought the same meat back, and it still was very rare, like they didn't even try to cook it to at least medium, which I requested. There is a full page vegetarian menu with elements with wf for vegan friendly labeled or contains instructions on how to vegan (omit egg or oyster sauce, for example). Family style/partable parts.
What a funny place! I wanted to eat and drink. the personal was soou friendly! large menu that included many vegetarian and vegan friendly options. the food was quickly prepared and served hot! had the spicy mango tofu that had a nice kick with sweet. and the drinks are huge! ordered the dr. fong (their signature drinks) and the chocolate strawberry drink. many around and lilac in these articles! also very cheap for the portions they receive. will surely go back!
There is no possible way anyone wants to have a dining experience where someone is screaming music at you doing a Rod Stewart impression for 3 hours. The food was decent microwave food at best and we had 2-3 waitresses during the course of our mean. It made no sense. Avoid the Friday/ Saturday live music if at all possible. And skip this if you're looking for Chinese food.
Came on a Saturday night at 7pm. Great service. Staff is extremely friendly and nice. Food was delicious and the drinks were good. There was a live band and they sure did put on a show. Definitely a new spot on my favorite list.
