This restaurant is totally awesome! The ambiance is very nice for dining outside in a garden setting and the sandwiches are the best. One of my favorites is the Pastrami on Sheepherders bread, along with a nice selection of vegies as a side bar. They also have wonderful pies to choose from. Well with a stop at this restaurant, you will not be disappointed
As many Yelpers have mentioned, Backstreet is a hidden gem in Riverside. I have been visiting this restaurant for three years and it never fails to impress.
Amazing pastrami sandwich! I really appreciate that they don't use too much salt in their dishes.
This is such a nice beautiful place to eat. The sandwiches are amazing, made with high quality meats and cheeses. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a cute garden area to sit and enjoy your food. One of my favorite places to eat lunch.
Each community has spots that are unique to their culture. Backstreet is one of those places for Riverside. A bit off the beaten path with limited parking, and only open a few hours a day. If you're a local though, you've been here many times and it's earned a special place in your heart. The food is great, but the atmosphere and the opportunity to spend time enjoying the outdoors on their back patio with loved ones makes it even more special. A unique spot that does their own thing and does it well.
