Was Rachel Kenny at Black Swan a mag?
Just returned from my second visited in one month . Being a complete caravan novice , I was really worried about how I’d cope . On both occasions the staff couldn’t do more for us , and the seasonal guests were amazing. The site is based within gorgeous country side with plenty of beautiful walks . Thank you for another great stay. X View all feedback.

What Mark Jones dislikes about Black Swan:
This campsite is overpriced. Charging £35 per night should mean that the showers and toilets are modern and clean, but they are neither. Additionally, the campsite is quite hilly. There's only so much you can justifiably charge for this kind of accommodation, and it should be around £15 a night, not £35. I recommend avoiding this place altogether, especially since the pub prices are also excessively high. View all feedback.

During my recent stay with my girlfriend, I found the room to be perfect and the staff to be excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful location with great dining options. Overall, we had a wonderful time and are grateful to all those who made our stay so enjoyable. Thank you.

We stayed here for three nights and found it to be a charming and welcoming pub. Scot, the host, is incredibly helpful and friendly—a genuinely nice guy! The food is fantastic, and the Sunday roast is one of the best we've had. The only downside was the lack of showers on-site and the toilet not being open, but we managed with our motorhome, which was parked on a bit of a slope, so we needed ramps. There are some lovely walks in the area, and it's only a 10-minute drive to Masham village.
