The food was unappetizing, the restaurant was dirty, and the staff seemed completely unhappy.

I chose it mainly because it's located at a Love's gas station, which is k... read more After more than fifty years of road trips, I finally tried Arby's for the first time. I chose it mainly because it's located at a Love's gas station, which is known for having the best bathrooms in the lower 48 states. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich, and I have to say it was quite enjoyable—actually delicious in the moment!

I popped in a half hour or so before they closed and I'm guessing they already had plans to skate out the door as soon as the closed sign was flipped because they bolted for the back when they saw someone coming their way. Bad form guys. If you are going to dodge customers so you can dip early, don't be dumb enough to make eye contact first. It's a dead giveaway.

Then, on a whim, I decided to try the King's Hawaiian Brown Sugar Bacon BLT Sandwich. Wow! It was an amazing BLT, especially for fast food. It came piled high with crispy, brown sugar-coated bacon, fresh lettuce, and ripe tomatoes. Overall, it's just a beautiful sandwich!
