What Οδυσσέας Αυγουστή doesn't like about The Boar’s Head:
I was meeting old friends I hadn't seen in a long time and wanted it to be special. It was not. The main waitress brought a pint of beer instead of half, which we all heard being ordered. She argued and grudgingly took it away and replaced, without a word of apology. I had the small fish and chips which were dry, overcooked and not hot. My guests' lunch was just OK. We had a nice meal delicious and generous. many thanks.
Excellent eating I had a head of fish and chips that my guests were all very satisfied with their directed. service discreet and contemporary. Do not forget to type the personal, as a service fee is not imposed.
It was very good, our pre-booked table was ready, and the team was fast to serve us with drinks that also chose us about the specialties of the day on the menu, in which did 4 of us 6 chose the hull and hamcake and said it very well. I had the trio the sausage. what was good, but I don't like the vegatable kyle, so I left that, two of us had the pudding, the sticky toffee was great and I had the pear trifle that was brilliant.
It enjoyed our lunch very much. eating was delicious and service spot on. very helpful and friendly staff.
A popular place to meet for lunch, good parking (front and back . Efficient service for both drinks and food, but won't be having another pint of Peroni £5.80(! . A wide choice of food, all the choices enjoyable. Fish pie good but fairly dry, very good beetroot gnocchi. The elongated bar eating area very noisy due to the number of patrons eating.
