What Michelle Whitson dislikes about Ringold Cafe:
We stopped here on our way home from a family vacation. The other reviews I read stated this cafe was family-friendly (we have a large family, so we always check for kid/family-friendly reviews). Upon arrival, we were greeted and sat right away. I asked for kids menus and was told they didn't have kids menus but could order half orders of something if we wanted. Our waitress came to the table and seemed to have no id... View all feedback.

Now, let’s talk about the best part: the food was, to put it simply, quite delicious! I ordered the biscuits and gravy breakfast, which came with bacon and eggs, and I couldn’t resist adding some French toast. I can honestly say this meal was comfort food at its finest—prepared from scratch and reminiscent of home-cooked country meals. It reminded me of the breakfasts my grandmother would whip up—nothing fancy, just good old-fashioned cooking. My wife chose the sausage and eggs, which were perfectly cooked; the sausage was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The bacon was nice and crispy, and the French toast took me right back to my grandmother's kitchen. Despite the slightly longer wait, it was well worth it, especially since it appeared the kitchen was only staffed by one woman. I won’t hold the wait against them for dishes made with care from scratch! If I wanted the standard fare of an assembly line restaurant, I could have gone to IHOP. But this cafe was just right for my wife and me. One thing to note: the menu doesn’t seem to cater much to children, which may be because it primarily serves guests staying in the adult-oriented cabins or the local residents and travelers passing through. Most children might not find the home-style meals particularly appealing, so perhaps they could consider adding more kid-friendly options in the future. This isn’t IHOP, Cracker Barrel, or Waffle House—it's homemade food at its best. It may not be for everyone, but I believe everyone should give this cafe a try at least once if they’re in the area. My wife and I plan to return and explore the other options on the menu; based on our breakfast experience, I’m eager to see what other treats they have in store! Highly recommended!

If you're craving a home-cooked breakfast, this is the spot for you. You won't find anything more "homemade" than this! It's absolutely incredible! Just keep in mind that each plate is prepared from scratch, so it might take a little time, but it’s definitely worth the wait!
