Marvelous place for a burger or chicken fried steak! Plentiful parking. Clean facility. Food was fresh and hot in generous portions. Will eat here again when passing through. View all feedback.
What Karen Jones doesn't like about Cj's Cafe:
I see all the great reviews, but this morning must have been an off day or someone didn't show up for work. Only about half tables were occupied, but it took over 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged that we were there and another 5 minutes to get waited on. During that time 10 a.m. passed and we were no longer allowed to get breakfast, so we just decided to move on down the road without eating. View all feedback.
Truckers come one come all...short walk from the Loves travel center in town here in Valliant. Always a fan of local establishments, wasn't disappointed. 10/10 will return
A true small town American diner. If you're not paying attention, you'll drive right by it. Don't let the non-descript exterior fool you. Dine in and you'll receive good service. Read the local newspaper and drink good coffee. Served with half-and-half, not the awful fake powder stuff. Order the pancakes and bring a friend. Portion sizes are generous.
Stopped there for super late lunch yesterday. Patty melt perfect with HUGE burger. Fries best i've had in long time soft on inside, crispy on outside, fresh hot
Our vehicle broke down in front of this cafe last Wednesday. My wife, our three children, and I all go in to sit down and eat while we wait for roadside assistance. The food and service were both excellent, but it's the post-meal treatment that left me feeling compelled to leave a review. Roadside never showed and it was extremely hot outside, so a cafe regular named Jim came out to tell us to come sit back down inside where it was cooler for the children. The server, Diana, gave all three of our children a drink to help cool them off. It was refreshing to see that Southern hospitality is still alive and well at this place. We will be stopping by when we go back through town, and I highly recommend anyone doing the same to meet these genuinely kind people.
