I was laid over in Rifle on the way back to Denver. I stopped in to check out the place and grab a small dinner. As someone else said, they do have a locked door policy for security reasons, whatever it didn't impact or take away from the atmosphere. I ordered the steak fajitas like I said small dinner. As a truck driver, I have eaten at a lot of places across the country. I don't normally do reviews unless deserved good or bad. This place is worth the stop, driving through stop get some food. Staying the night at a nearby hotel. Food was awesome enough said. You like mexican food your hungry get ya some.

After a long day of work the Mexican restaurant across the street from our hotel was calling. I was blown away by the food. To me, the salsa hands down is my favorite. We ordered a steak quesadilla as an appetizer. It was flavorful, juicy and the outside was light and flaky. I ordered a steak salad as a meal. All the portions were large and perfectly prepared. The waiter was so nice and took very good care of us. Looking forward to returning.

This was a nice place to have dinner after having traveled all day. The food was good and service was quick. Not sure why you have to wait to be let in to the main area of the restaurant (locked door that the staff opens after you 've told them how many are in your party). Kind of gave an unsafe vibe but the area and people there didn 't give of the vibe. Just a little strange but worth a visit.
