What Paul Elie Nauleau doesn't like about Hogback Pizza:
A lot of people recommended this place, so we got a pizza to go to give it a try along with some garlic bread. The garlic bread was tasty, but this rating is mostly based on the pizza not being that good. The crust was cardboardy and very thin. Almost like a gluten free crust, but wasn’t supposed to be. Primarily focused on takeout, this restaurant also offers a few tables for dining in. The pizza is generously topped with delicious cheese and sauce. The menu features a great selection of specialty pizzas and toppings. Be sure to sample some of the other dishes on the menu; you won’t be disappointed!
Making choices can be tough... calzone or meatball sub? I did notice they had pizza slices available as well. I ultimately went with the calzone, packed with mushrooms and spinach. I was allowed a third option, but two were more than enough for me. The tomato sauce came on the side, and everything was delicious! The bottom of the calzone could have used an extra minute in the oven, but it was still quite tasty!

Tried to stop to celebrate a personal accomplishment. Felt very unwelcomed from the moment I walked in with my service dog. The manager very rudely expressed her doubt that he was a service dog and was only going to allow him to be chained on the outside of the fence while I sat on the patio (literally having a fence between me and my service dog). Instead of arguing ADA law, we just left as I will not spend my money somewhere I feel so unwelcomed. Clearly my business was not valued due to the fully empty restaurant
The pizza is like an elevated Domino's thin crust. Got an 18-inch specialty pie (the Traditional Neglect) and it was a ton of food. Two of us could only finish half. Good topping ratio. Lovely spot on Main Street. Can watch the sunset from the restaurant.
