What Ursosarctos likes about The Orange Tree:
We had arranged to meet for drinks, but made the mistake of meeting on a day when there was big-screen football, so it was very noisy. The staff were quite helpful over a move from the table we had reserved. Drinks were fine, the tables are kept clean, and the pub seems bright and characterful. View all feedback. What MichaelP445 doesn't like about The Orange Tree:
We were looking for a Sunday afternoon pint and a roast We found a pub where no one was interested in customers. We ordered drinks on the app and waited 20 minutes. Only came when asked at the bar. We ordered food and waited 30 minutes (it wasn’t busy) for them to bring out entirely different food. We ordered a mushroom wellington, we got a nut roast. Imagine if we had an allergy! read moreThe Orange Tree in Richmond is a bustling pub with a kantine mentality, leading to food mixups and portions discrepancies. Despite being a rugby pub with a lively atmosphere, the high expectations for food fell short for some customers with long waits and missing items on the menu. On the upside, the staff were largely friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the location convenient near Richmond station. While some discrepancies exist in the food quality, the overall experience at this pub is mixed, making it a hit or miss spot for patrons looking for a casual and lively dining experience.
