The Whisky Sauer Hauslauge was on the spot!! The fried oysters were tasty and the potatoes were well filled. The lump crabcake lobster met the place!!! The food was really good. Plenty of pool tables. Yet plenty of cigarette smoke too. Walked in and was immediately hit with a wall of smoke. Sat at a table and looked at a menu. The place is centered around a step high U shaped bar with people smoking and drinking. Small slot games on the walls and nice felts on regulation size tables. Not a good experience for non smokers. Was pretty laid back. Only thing was flies here and there saw one land in my beer.
Pet-friendly, and with quite probably the most attractive bartender in Virginia, my dog and I both enjoyed us very much.
It's my favorite place to play pool. The tables are always in good shape. The food is very good and it's budget friendly. Might have to walk to the bar to order when it's busy, but everyone is friendly and helpful. They have a non-smoking side, too.
