Wawa - Richmond

As a New Jersey native, I can confidently say that Wawa locations back home are far superior to this one. The condition of the bathrooms here was appalling! The parking lot and gas pumps were also quite dirty. I attempted to get some blueberry coffee, but only got half a cup, and it was lukewarm. When I tried to get regular coffee, it was the same issue—just warm. After three attempts, I finally found a cup of hot coffee. The coffee station was sticky and littered with trash, and the Irish creamers were almost empty; I had to request a new, full one. It’s clear that the manager and staff don’t care about the store or the experience of their customers. Wawa, if you’re looking to expand beyond the PA/NJ area, you need to step up your game!

The staff were incredibly friendly and ensured that I received fresh stuffed pretzels!

I rated this place 2 stars, and the only positive is that the self-checkout allowed me to get in and out quickly. Unfortunately, this location is just WAY TOO SMALL to handle the demand in the area. It was incredibly crowded and messy, and the staff seemed overwhelmed—even at 6:00 AM! I can only imagine how hectic it must be during lunchtime. I was really taken aback by the chaotic atmosphere. I definitely won’t be going back. Yikes!

Even through their busy lunch rush the service is amazing. My hoagies are always made perfectly and the curbside delivery is always courteous and kind. Thank you!

Food is bland and not made with care, the ingredients weren't fresh, and to top it off, my order wasn't right. Try a different Wawa, this one's employees don't GAF.
