Really large space with lots of nice places to sit with a delicious beer. We stopped in for.the holiday varieties and weren't disappointed! The beers were excellent and the service was superb. The restrooms were clean. There were lovely fire pits and outdoor spaces as well as a few nice, large rooms to sit inside. There was love entertainment on a Saturday afternoon! Can't recommend it enough. Be careful with parking... View all feedback.

This is a fantastic spot to gather with friends or take the family for a day or evening out. There’s an amazing selection of beers, along with wine for the adults and lemonade for the kids. The live music is consistently enjoyable, and there are plenty of activities like disc golf, walking trails, and food trucks. While there’s ample parking available, it can be quite a trek for older adults and young children to reach the activities. The venue offers plenty of seating and space for relaxing or hosting events.
With an extensive selection of taps, take-home beer options, and inventive pizza choices, Hardywood is a must-visit during your time in Richmond. Virginia Tech fans might know Hardywood for their award-winning Hokie Lager, but there's so much more to discover. Although I prefer darker beers and found the options in that category to be limited, the knowledgeable staff guided me to two outstanding selections from the lighter offerings. The mushroom pizza was also fantastic, and the ample indoor and outdoor seating creates a lively beer garden vibe. I’ll definitely be returning!
Location is fun. Atmosphere is good. My dark beer was good. Five hundred children throwing rocks, not so much. Yes, 500 children is an exaggeration but it felt like 500 children. I know it's a thing. But not for us. Moving on.
Drinks- decent. Pizza-17$ of meh. Music- great. Charity events and support -great!
