One of the Best Brunches in the City. I have been there with my girlfriend a couple times for brunch, so I will comment on the general experience.. The breakfast there is not extravagant, but out of everything we have had there (poached eggs with hollandaise, french toast, omlettes, biscuits and gravy, quiche.. everything was flavorful and filling. I am not a fan overly sweet breakfasts, nor of frilly platings that o... View all feedback.
What Susana Grimes doesn't like about Strawberry Street Cafe:
popular spot first impression. I'm new to richmond, so I tried to find places that recommend my employees last week, we're here for lunch and was shocked how long it took to get our meal a fast hunt lasted almost a half hours to place orders, get food and eat. the meal was not bad, but she was forgotten. nothing about this place really calls me back here. Great little restaurant. I love this place. the service is great. my friend got a martini while we thought he was too happy hour, but it wasn't. the server gave us to a discount anyway apologise for the mix. eating is fantastic. our group had the chicken pot pee, pasta jambalaya, and spinat lasagna- all were deliciously portioned and inexpensive. I wish I had been there for her fabulous brunch.
The feeling of the place fits in the neighboring beautiful, picturesque and intimate. Although the menu looked interesting, we chose the salat tub that is better than it sounds. the selections were made from the usual green leaves to the edamame hummus, which was pretty. it was satisfied at a very reasonable price. has tried a crab cake on the side, as it was so famous in the menu. our todling grandchildren were treated very well. all in all, we want to go back when we are back in the opposite.
Overrated, but not bad. I've never been especially impressed here, but maybe the fawning reviews I've heard previously set the expectations too high. It's a bit pricey, and relatively fancy atmosphere. This is a place your doting aunt loves, and that you will love if you are a doting aunt.
Great Value. Not the best restaurant that I've been to but for the price, it was an excellent value. The crabcakes had a little more filler than I like but the creamy crab soup was very good and the jambalaya pasta was excellent. Kudos for serving Virginia Wine, the Barboursville Cab France was an excellent value.
