Max's On Broad - Richmond

So beautiful place, great for Date Night. The second floor is very private and quiet that I was looking for. Started with fried oysters that were fresh and very tasty prepared. Also Max's Poutine, loaded French fries, had what was nice, but I'm not a big fan of this court. I had her special of the night recommended by the server, Chimichuri steak with potatoes and vegetables, so a great combination of flavors, I really enjoyed it. Shrimp Grey was also a great presentation, with beautiful acidic kick. Server was easy, with a lot of knowledge! Since it was a special night for Fiance and me, we have champagne in the house. Everyone was so nice and friendly. Really impressed by this restaurant, other good French things will try again!

GREAT, AWESOME, French cuisine. Lavender our waitress and Gina the manager made it just a date night with my wife to remember forever. Great layout, great menu. I met the boss and gave him my compliments. I was even surprised I ran there in Oshea Jackson Jr. There's nothing left to say to me, but that. TY Staff of Max's makes it a night to remember.

Fantastic. Moving to Jackson Ward and I still eat, this place is a jewel. We could get a table at the bar on a Friday night without both reservations. Great service, delicious cocktails, ambience is cozy, details are thoughtful, and only amazing food. It was very special to experience something refined, just a walk from my house and it made our Valentine's Day so special.

Food and service was excellent! If you love oysters, this is the place. Fine food without feeling too formal. A great place to celebrate a birthday or an event! Reservations are a must!

Max's was fantastic. It was my first time there and its amazingly convenient that they have free Valet parking! The food was delicious, me and my group had a variety of things, between the Shrimp and Grits, the Filet Mignon, Truffle Mac and Cheese, Short ribs, and seared scallops. We also had multiple choices of the hors d'oeuvres, the Poutine was phenomenal and I know my friends loved the Charcuterie Board, especially the in house made Jam. It was super good! I wish it was jarred and sold. Over all it was a great experience and the staff was wonderful, we definitely plan on returning.
