El Charro Texano Tacos And Taps

I eat here frequently as I work across the street. Although some things I've ordered weren't my favorite, I have go tos on the menu that I love. Food is ALWAYS hot and order is always correct. I absolutely LOVE their mole and red enchilada sauce. Everyone is so nice that works there as well.

I applaud the innovation of adding tater tots to a burrito, but not much else stands out here. I had the JJ burrito and it was OK, too much cheese and pretty salty but still it was a unique combination of ingredients for a burrito. I tried ordering the choricheese appetizer but my server never put in that part of order to the kitchen. So overall, not a great impression from staff and not a great flavor from the food. Dining area was nice and clean and avoided most of the standard Mexican restaurant decorating tropes.

Ordered reg sized guacamole and vegetables ended up paying 13.50 ? outrageous for not even a full entree. Hurt my feelings a bit. Chips Ok. V small portion. Vegetables- undercooked. Guacamole very good.
