What Munchica likes about Sushi Hachi:
Outstanding sushi! The taste and freshness of the fish is comparable to literally being at the fish market in Japan! Every piece was splendid making this restaurant easily one of the best authentic sushi restaurants in Richmond. Even their miso soup was elevated with real fish meat and enhanced rich broth! So glad to have dined here and totally would come back, only you must make a reservation early because they are... View all feedback. What Li C doesn't like about Sushi Hachi:
Tiny restaurant . Horrible service. Girl serving said order now! We are going to be busy soon , oh no you can 't order that. Fresh tasty value for money highly recommended so book early very popular Japanese restaurant
Food was wonderful but the service was spotty. Had to keep flagging down the server. If you're not in a rush, the food is worth it.

read moreSushi Hachi Japanese Restaurant is a charming family-run eatery specializing in fresh raw cuts with a steep price tag. While some may find the sushi rice lacking, the overall experience is pleasant for those seeking simple, quality eats. The small size of the restaurant may lead to slower service, but the authenticity and reasonable prices make it a hidden gem for sushi lovers. With a limited menu and emphasis on sushi and sashimi, diners should come prepared for an authentic Japanese dining experience. Overall, Sushi Hachi offers top-notch sushi and friendly service, making it a must-try for enthusiasts looking for quality raw fish dishes in a cozy setting.
